Privacy Policy
Effective date: 24 December 2024
Introduction
Alphatechs (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of our users (“you,” “your”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our threat intelligence product, Sphere, also known as SphereTI (the “Product”), and when you visit sphereti.com (the “Site”). By using the Product or the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
a. Information You Provide Directly
Contact Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and phone number for verification purposes. When you contact our team or request a demo through the Site, we collect your first and last name, work email, phone number, company, and number of employees so we can respond to your request.
b. Information Collected Automatically
Within the Product, we do not collect any additional information automatically beyond what is necessary for its operation. On the Site, Google reCAPTCHA collects information automatically in order to distinguish human visitors from automated ones — see section 7.
c. Data Provided by Integrations
We do not collect or process data from integrations with third-party services.
d. Information You Submit Through This Site
The Site offers a free credential exposure report through the contact form. To request one you submit the contact information described above. Your work email address is used to query our breach and infostealer datasets and to prepare and return the resulting report. We do not ask for, and the form does not accept, your password. Retention of the submitted information is governed by section 4.
Submitting the contact form does not create an account. The form also carries a hidden anti-spam field which is never shown to you and never populated by a person; submissions that fill it are discarded.
The Site also offers a contact form for sales questions, pricing enquiries, and demo requests. In addition to the contact information described above, the form records which Site call to action and plan led to the request so it can be routed and followed up in context. Retention of this information is governed by section 4.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Verify your identity to provide access to the Product;
- Respond to contact, pricing, and demo requests;
- Communicate with you about updates, offers, or technical issues;
- Fulfill legal and regulatory requirements.
3. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell or rent your information to third parties. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- With Service Providers: Trusted third-party vendors who assist in operating the Product or providing related services.
- For Legal Reasons: To comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests from authorities.
- In Business Transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required by law.
5. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal information;
- Object to or restrict processing of your information;
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise your rights, contact us at support@sphereti.com.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We do not use cookies or tracking technologies in the Product, and we run no analytics, advertising or profiling technology on the Site.
The Site does use Google reCAPTCHA to protect its forms from automated abuse. reCAPTCHA sets cookies and collects hardware, software and behavioral signals from your browser, and sends them to Google for analysis. Google acts as an independent processor of that data under its own terms; its use is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and Google Terms of Service. We use it only for this purpose and receive no advertising or profiling data from it.
8. Third-Party Links
The Product may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
9. International Data Transfers
If you are accessing the Product from outside Albania, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in a jurisdiction where privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your location.
10. Updates to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective Date” at the top of this page indicates when the latest changes were made. Your continued use of the Product after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
